The Dunlop Fuzz Face is the classic simple fuzz circuit: two transistors, very little forgiveness, and a huge amount of feel. It can go from woolly sustain to almost-clean bite from the guitar volume, but it wants to see your pickups directly and can get grumpy after buffers.
